New online format created for urban culture events programme

Free public events programme #LeakeStreetLIVE has returned with a new online format, celebrating urban culture through food, drink, paint and play.

Based at Leake Street Arches, in Waterloo, the programme has adapted to coronavirus lockdown with online entertainment every Thursday with exclusive music performances from up-and-coming artists, and graffiti tutorials from Leake Street regular Spray Saint.

Justine Simons OBE, deputy mayor for culture and creative industries, said supporting the programme was “a brilliant way to give performers a stage to showcase their work”.
